Founded in 2014, Velocity Training helps inspectors pass American Petroleum Institute (API) exams—including API 1169 and API 1184—and earn industry-aligned inspection credentials through practical online courses and classroom training.

Are courses self-paced and fully online?
Yes. Our online courses are 100% self-paced with 24/7 access. API 1169 classroom training is instructor-led with immediate pre-class access.
Do I earn a certificate?
Yes. Each certificate program awards a credential upon successful completion. CPCI-2300 awards two certificates: PCI-2100 and PLI-2200. API prep courses issue a 40-hr completion certificate (the API certification itself is earned by passing the official exam).
What access lengths do you offer for exam prep?

Are finals proctored?
Where specified (e.g., PCI-2100), VTES final exams are timed/monitored in the Virtual Campus. Official API certification exams are scheduled and proctored by API/Prometric.
