For eligible API 1169 Online and API 1184 Online plans, students who complete the required training steps and do not pass on their first attempt may be eligible to retake the course according to the program terms. The 7-day online access plans are excluded. API 1169 Classroom has a separate classroom guarantee tied to attendance, participation, homework completion, and exam timing requirements.

What does the Training Guarantee require?

The Training Guarantee may require students to complete course requirements, use the training as intended, and attempt the exam within the stated time period. The exact terms can vary by course, and 7-day online access plans are excluded.

Refunds, transfers, or switching plans?

Online courses are generally non-refundable once a student has accessed course materials inside the Virtual Campus. Classroom cancellation and transfer terms may depend on timing, access to pre-class materials, and administrative requirements. Review the Refund Policy or contact Velocity Training before assuming a refund, transfer, or plan change is available.

Can I print or share course materials?

No. Course access is issued to the enrolled student only. Sharing logins, copying materials, distributing course content, or attempting to bypass course security may result in removal from the course.

Can I share my login or course materials with another person?

No. Course access is issued to the enrolled student only. Sharing logins, copying materials, distributing course content, or attempting to bypass course security may result in removal from the course.

Do you offer accessibility support or accommodations?

Velocity Training will work with students to discuss reasonable support needs for online or classroom delivery. For official API exam accommodations, candidates must follow API and Prometric accommodation policies and procedures.

Support

Who should I contact for course access or enrollment help?

Contact Velocity Training for course access, enrollment questions, payment questions, training support, or help choosing the right course. Email [email protected] or call 505-404-7160.

Is instructor support available to active students?

Yes. Internal course chat messaging, email support, and phone support by qualified instructors are available to all active students. Support is course-focused and helps students with navigation, study questions, training content, and practical preparation guidance during their active access period.

Who should I contact about API application problems?

Students should contact API or the API ICP Helpdesk for application questions, ICP portal issues, eligibility questions, or certification status questions. Velocity Training can help with training, but API controls the certification application process. Start with API Individual Certification Programs.

Who should I contact about exam scheduling or test center issues?

Exam scheduling and test center issues are handled through the official testing provider after API exam authorization. Students should follow API and Prometric instructions for scheduling, rescheduling, test center rules, and exam-day procedures. Visit Prometric API exam scheduling for exam delivery information.

Can I ask course questions after business hours?

Yes. Students can submit course questions through the Virtual Campus at any time. Instructor responses are provided as support is available, and students can continue working through lessons while waiting for a reply.
