Terms of Service

Summary: These terms govern your use of Velocity Training websites, courses, downloads, student resources, classroom services, and related support. Do not share your login, copy or redistribute course materials, misuse training content, or interfere with the learning platform. Violations may result in suspension or termination without refund.

Single student access Course access is for the named registrant only and may not be shared, transferred, or resold.

Training content protected Questions, explanations, videos, documents, graphics, and course resources are protected intellectual property.

Policies work together These terms work with the Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, and any applicable Training Guarantee terms.

1) Who we are

Velocity Training Education Solutions, LLC is referred to in these terms as Velocity Training, we, us, or our. We provide online training, classroom training, exam preparation, certificate courses, corporate training, and related resources for pipeline inspectors and related professionals.

2) Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using our websites, courses, downloads, classroom materials, online training platform, student support, or related services, you agree to these Terms of Service and all policies referenced on this page. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

3) Eligibility and accounts

• You must provide accurate registration, billing, and contact information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Accounts, passwords, course content, practice questions, practice exams, student resources, and support access may not be shared, transferred, loaned, resold, or used by anyone other than the named registrant.
• We may suspend or terminate access if account sharing, credential sharing, suspicious activity, payment issues, content misuse, or platform abuse is detected.

4) Course access windows

Course access windows, course inclusions, start dates, completion requirements, and available resources are shown at purchase or in the applicable course description. Unless a written exception is provided by Velocity Training, online course access begins when the course is issued in the training platform or when access is otherwise made available to the student.

Access windows run by calendar days, not by login time. It is the student’s responsibility to plan study time, verify access, and contact support promptly if access issues occur.

5) License to use the services

Subject to these terms and timely payment, Velocity Training grants the registered student a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the purchased course or service during the applicable access period.

This license is for personal training use only. No ownership rights are transferred to the student, employer, purchaser, or organization.

6) Intellectual property

All course content, practice questions, practice exams, answer explanations, videos, lesson text, graphics, diagrams, study resources, documents, page designs, logos, trade dress, and platform materials are owned by Velocity Training or its licensors and are protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws.

Students and organizations may not copy, reproduce, screen-record, scrape, download, print beyond authorized course resources, distribute, publish, sell, share, transmit, upload, frame, modify, create derivative works from, or otherwise use Velocity Training materials without written permission.

7) Acceptable use

• Use the services lawfully and professionally.
• Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, misrepresent, disrupt, or interfere with the training environment.
• Do not use bots, scrapers, crawlers, automated tools, artificial traffic, credential testing tools, or other automated access methods.
• Do not reverse engineer, bypass, disable, test, or interfere with platform security, course access controls, payment controls, or usage limits.
• Do not attempt to obtain, share, sell, or distribute protected exam materials, Velocity Training answer explanations, Velocity Training question banks, student resources, or unauthorized answer keys.

8) Academic integrity and exam preparation

Velocity Training provides exam preparation and professional training resources. We do not control API application approval, exam scheduling, exam scoring, exam content, certification decisions, exam policies, exam fees, retesting rules, or credential renewal requirements.

Students are responsible for verifying eligibility, application requirements, exam windows, testing options, fees, identification requirements, and certification rules directly with the applicable certification body or testing provider.

9) Training Guarantee

If a course or program is advertised with a Velocity Training guarantee, the guarantee is limited to the terms stated on the applicable guarantee page or written offer. For API exam preparation, the Training Guarantee does not mean Velocity Training controls exam results or certification decisions. It means eligible students may receive the specific additional training remedy described in the guarantee terms.

10) Payments, financing, and chargebacks

• Prices, access durations, course inclusions, discounts, and payment options are shown at purchase and may change without notice.
• Taxes, fees, and third-party processing charges may apply.
• Third-party payment or financing services are subject to the provider’s own terms, approval criteria, payment schedule, and account rules.
• Opening a chargeback, dispute, or payment reversal without first contacting support may result in immediate account suspension while the issue is reviewed.
• Returned payments, failed payments, suspected fraud, or unpaid balances may result in delayed access, suspended access, or termination.

11) Refunds, cancellations, and course changes

Refunds, cancellations, substitutions, course conversions, and classroom cancellation rules are governed by the Refund Policy and any written offer terms provided at purchase.

Where permitted, refunds are returned to the original payment method. Course access, downloadable materials, classroom seats, LMS activity, discount usage, and timing may affect refund eligibility.

12) Third-party platforms

Some services are delivered through third-party platforms, including learning management systems, payment processors, scheduling tools, video services, forms, analytics services, and communication tools. Your use of those services may be subject to their separate terms and privacy practices.

13) Communications

By enrolling, contacting us, creating an account, or submitting a form, you agree that Velocity Training may contact you about enrollment, course access, student support, billing, training updates, policy notices, classroom logistics, and related service communications. You are responsible for keeping your contact information current.

14) Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access immediately, with or without notice, for violations of these terms, nonpayment, suspected fraud, platform abuse, account sharing, content sharing, intellectual property misuse, security risk, or conduct that interferes with the services or other students.

No refund is due if access is suspended or terminated because of a violation of these terms.

15) No professional, legal, safety, or certification advice

Training materials are educational resources. They are not legal advice, engineering advice, safety consulting, compliance consulting, or a substitute for employer procedures, project specifications, applicable regulations, professional judgment, or official certification body requirements.

16) Disclaimers

The services are provided as available and as permitted by law. We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device or browser, or available at all times. We may update, modify, replace, or discontinue portions of the services when needed.

17) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Velocity Training and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, instructors, affiliates, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits; lost revenue; lost data; lost business opportunities; exam fees; travel costs; employment outcomes; certification decisions; or substitute services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Velocity Training’s total liability for any claim arising from or related to the services will not exceed the amount paid to Velocity Training for the service giving rise to the claim during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

18) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Velocity Training and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, instructors, affiliates, and partners from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the services, your violation of these terms, your misuse of training materials, or your violation of applicable law.

19) Force majeure

Velocity Training is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, war, terrorism, labor disputes, government action, internet outages, platform outages, payment processor outages, power failures, public health emergencies, or other events outside reasonable control.

20) Copyright and reporting misuse

If you believe content on our services infringes your copyright or if you need to report unauthorized use of Velocity Training materials, contact [email protected] with enough detail for us to review the concern. We may remove content, disable access, investigate misuse, or take other action we consider appropriate.

21) Privacy

Your use of the services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

22) Changes to the services or these terms

We may update the services or these terms from time to time. Updated terms take effect when posted unless a different effective date is stated. Continued use of the services after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

23) Governing law, venue, and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for actions not resolved informally or in small-claims court will be state or federal courts located in Tennessee, and you consent to their jurisdiction. You and Velocity Training each waive any right to a jury trial to the fullest extent permitted by law.

24) Non-discrimination

Velocity Training admits students without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, marital status, age, disability, or any other factor prohibited by law. Some offerings may require participants to be 18 or older or to secure parental or guardian consent.
